Goodbye Croatia, hello Slovenia!

Location: Portorož. Probably the first impression in your head was: „Wow nice, cocktails and beach whole day long.“ Well, NOT. It's even BETTER.  It is Summer School in Portorož with such a friendly people from Estonia, Portugal, Netherlands and Slovenia. It was quite interesting hearing approximately thirty different strange names with specific accent and remember only two or three of them first day (very frequently question was: „Damn, what's his/her name?“). But in case of Sander, you will kill two birds with one stone J Not literally, of  course. Call that name and we are sure that two guys will turn their heads. Despite all the differences between nationalities, we found out that we think the same in the moment of ordering a famous Slovenian beer. Laško – connecting people. 

 

Oh yes, it is important to say that the accommodation is TOP because when you have an air conditioning in your room, nothing else metters. And a thumb up for a good-looking receptionist who carried our luggage till the fifth floor.

We mentioned cocktails. Having fun in Summer School doesn't exclude the cocktail time. Mojito was excellent, it made our day.

Even the lectures are fun. You know the feeling when two hours of lectures your concentration is on a high level? No? Neither did we know until today. Quite interesting cognition.

 Maybe we should be grateful for that to our plentful and tasteful lunch (pancakes rules) because it is known that love (in this case to Summer School lectures) goes through stomach. 

Ups, we forgot to mention that we are four Croatian students, very perspective young creatures (we could discuss the field of our perspective, maybe in drinking Mojitos?) looking for new experiences, friendships and knowledge. One thing is sure – we are going to have a great time during this Summer School, always ready for new challenges and seeking new adventures.
