Day 2 : It's getting salty in Portorož

The day 2 of our stay in Portorož started really proactive. Since yesterday we had the „ICE SCREAM, YOU SCREAM " party in the center od Portorož, in the bar called Cacao ( interesting, because when you pronounce this word in Croatian it literrally means „he has shitted„ ) . As said by our lovely organisers the Cacao in Portorož has the best ice-cream so we were really interested if this is true. After trying Dino's Sacher-taste ice-cream it was clear that this is a really place to go again there. But of course we didn't stick only to the ice-cream, there were some coctails too. The night turned out into a really relaxing cousy evening with the view of beautiful Portorož beach at night.

The hardest task today was waking up early in the morning to be ready for take off at 7:15. After a half of hour boat ride we came to our first destination and this was the Lepa Vida Wellness.  Since we had a special opportunity to be the first visiters of the new Spa it was definetly worth of waking up so early.  We can just say that Slowenia did a really good job by opening this Wellnes center because it's so unique. It is the only open Wellness in the world and it's also einveronemtntly freindly as it's a part of a Natural Park Sečovlje Salt Pans. As a result of this they offer several beauty and medical treatmens, both using the natural product of this area like salt and fango.

Turning back to Portorož we had lunch in a friendly restaurant called „News caffe „ where the Bosnian owner suprised us with the best meal ever - čevapčići.  But since we are not only enyoing here, the afternoon was filled with the lectures of several professors and teachers. We also started to work in mixed groups on our big project - developing a marketing plan for the Natural Park Sečovlje Salt Pans and Lepa Vida Wellnesss. By the way, it's interesting the fact that the wellness got the name Lepa Vida after the beautiful girl called Vida standing in front of the sea. ( Lepa Vida on Slowenian means „beautiful Vida „ ).

After such a long day we definetly deserve a glass of wine to relax and prepare our presentation for the International evening where all the nationalities will present their cultures. Of course we will also write about this and bring the best pictures so stay tuned and read our posts !
