From Ljubljana with love...

Hey guys,

Today we're writing from Ljubljana a small beautiful town.

Before we tell you about our day let's just go through last night's party.

After another great dinner at our balcony we went to the other side of the street – meaning the beach. We gathered there with some of the Slovenian, Estonian and Croatian guys, to have a drink. We even had fireworks. After this we went to Coco where a party was waiting for us. Thank you Slovenians once again for being always so nice. After some drinks in this nice beach bar some of us went to Paprika, one of our favourite best spots in this Slovenian nights. 

So today waking up was not very good, but a day full of new things was waiting for us!

We (Inês, Catarina, Rui and Maria) took the bus in Portoroz with one destination in our minds... the capital of Slovenia: Ljubljana.

After 2 hours and a half trip, we wen't to the tourism city office where we got some precious information and maps of the city. Next step: a city walk tour.

We started our tour at the triple brigde, a different concept of the usual bridges. 

After that we visited the surroundings. We visited churches, the dragon and the shoe makers bridges.

The shoes you can see in the picture are left by people who are looking for good luck and love in their lives. 

We wen't up to the castle by funicular and we could see all of the city from there.

Afer that took a quick look at the university and some squares and the national museum and gallery (as it is sunday they were all closed... but we got to see the outside). 

We finished our day at a lovely open air cafe at Presernov Square with some great live music. 

Now we have to go catch our bus to go back to Portoroz and prepare ourselves for another busy week.
