Hello!! Hope you are enjoying our posts… for us it’s being a pleasure!
So… today we started with a lecture about Portugal, as you can imagine it was interesting for us! It was interesting to see the reactions of our colleagues from other countries to the incredible landscapes of our country.
As usual we had lunch at News Café, today with gnocchi with cheese. Really good…. Worth of a second round. For desert we had plenty of choices… lemon and coconut cake, berries cake and also a chocolate and almond cake. Enough to make everybody happy!
After lunch we headed back to work in our final project, the creation of an innovative marketing plan for Lepa Vida or the Natural Park Secovilje. Some of us went to a very special location – The Bernardin’s Hotel Terrace in the 11th floor. Well… what a view!! The inspiring view helped us a lot… we could see the salt pans from there and the ideas were flowing much better!
Other groups weren’t so lucky… Susana and Inês stayed at Turistica with the amazing view of a classroom… Lucky them :p
After this working afternoon, some of us went to the beach to get some sun... But it was already 7 p.m. when we managed to go so the sun wasn’ t shinning that much, but the water was perfect, it was good to take a swim and relax a bit.
After swimming we were starving. Rui decided he deserves a good dinner so he went for a seafood risotto. For us dinner was more Spanish: tapas. Bread with cheese, smoked sardines, and Malvasya. By the way, this is our favorite wine. Here in Portoroz we drink it whenever we have the chance to ;)
Tomorrow we have an early morning (surprise surprise…) we are going to Piran in the morning, hoping to find figs for Susana, and some fresh bread… and in the afternoon we’re going to the hinterland.
So this Friday night can’t be a party night… maybe tomorrow (
